Privacy policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This policy explains what information Traveltsg ("we", "us") collects when you visit traveltsg.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as we can.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. When you sign up for our newsletter, the form collects the details it asks for, usually your name and email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and the services we use record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and the time of your visit. This helps us keep the site working and understand which guides are useful.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and advertising, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some ads may be less relevant.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and see which pages people read. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, time on site and general location. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
We serve display ads through a Revive Adserver installation. Ad delivery may use cookies or similar technology to limit how often you see the same ad, count impressions and clicks, and prevent fraud. Advertisers whose ads appear here may set their own cookies under their own policies. Ads are always labeled.
Newsletter form provider
Our newsletter signup is handled by a third-party form and email provider (Sphere CRM). When you subscribe, your information is stored by that provider so we can send you emails. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Feeds and third-party links
Some pages show headlines from other travel publications through RSS. Those headlines link to the original publishers. When you follow a link to another site, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours.
How we use information
- To answer messages and corrections.
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To understand which content is useful and improve the site.
- To serve and measure advertising.
- To keep the site secure.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We don't share it except with the service providers described here, or when required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or limit some processing. If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you these rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. If you're a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, which can include some advertising cookies. You won't be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, use our contact page and choose "General". We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Data retention and security
We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to respond, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can promise perfect security.
Children
Traveltsg is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
